Treasury & Resources

The Treasury and Resources Department assumed responsibilities primarily of the Advisory and Finance Committee, the property responsibilities of the Board of Administration, Cadastre, Civil Service Board and the Income Tax Authority.

The Department, now led by Deputy Charles Parkinson, is mandated to advise the States on matters relating to the allocation and administration of all States resources; the regulation and control of States financial affairs; raising States incomes and controlling financial resources; and systems for the collection of taxes.

Its responsibilities involve drawing up the annual States Budget, commenting on the resource implications of all States proposals, the management and safeguarding of all financial assets and investments.
