Guernsey has a diverse range of marketing services organisations who work with local, national and International businesses. The industry boasts IPA affiliated agencies and award winning design companies many of which are locally owned.

The daily newspaper is entitled The Guernsey Press and there are two radio stations on the island. BBC Radio Guernsey and the commercial station Island FM. The key business magazine is called Contact and is published by the Chamber of Commerce and IFCfeed.com is the main resource for breaking business news stories.

Both local PR and Advertising agencies regularly compete against the larger London based marketing service providers to 'pitch' for those leading financial organisations based in the island.

The island also has a highly sophisticated online or web based agency community who have extensive experience of online marketing.

The Guernsey Press, the Island's longest established newspaper, which is part of the Guiton Group of companies, has announced it will be cutting jobs in the island.

New event management business launches in Guernsey

Alex Bridle, the former Chief Executive of CMA Event Management, has launched a new event management company called The Guernsey Event Company Limited. The new company will concetrate its business activity on providing management services for the planning, organisation and delivery of events in both the private and public sectors.
