There are many training facilities and organisations in Guernsey. The island runs an extremely popular and effective apprenticeship scheme for various trades from manufacturing, IT and building. The Training Agency serves the finance industry with post graduate courses and has links with Wessex Universities.
There are also adult learning courses available at the State run Further Education College where residents can work towards an array of qualifications in subjects as far ranging as catering, navigation, languages and crafts.
Guernsey also has some professional training companies such as The Learning Company who specialise in corporate style training.

Teaching facilities given financial boost
THE GTA University Centre’s teaching facilities have been given a financial boost by Airtel-Vodafone. A new long-term sponsorship agreement will see the University Centre receive £15,000 per year for the next three years, making Airtel-Vodafone a key sponsor of the GTA.
